NATE BRAMSEN, ROCK International Executive Director
Nate Bramsen was born and raised in Senegal, West Africa. Though Nate received Christ as his Savior in childhood, it was at the age of 16 that God burdened and led him to invest his life into the abused, neglected, and abandoned children of this world—for the sake of time and eternity. Holding an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from North Greenville University and a Masters in Community Development from Kansas State University, he began pioneer work among this demographic of children in North Africa. It was in December of 2006 that he founded ROCK International (www.rockintl.org), a non-profit organization seeking to be a vehicle to minister to hurting youth.
In 2018, he married Priyanka Mathews (now Bramsen) of Houston, Texas and they welcomed their first child, Haven Rahab in 2019. Today they have a global itinerant teaching ministry across six continents, podcasting, along with overseeing international development projects through ROCK International and a passion to see the unreached reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2017, his first book was published entitled, “What If Jesus Meant What He Said?” The heart behind this book is to see this generation become unconditional followers of Jesus Christ, regardless of the cost.
As they travel and minister, Priyanka and Nate take advantage of opportunities to hike and explore the wild, jump off cliffs (into water, ideally), enjoy the culinary wonders of a region (make it spicy!) or just soak in the cultural experiences a place has to offer.
