VINAY MATHEWS, ROCK International Board Member
Vinay Mathews grew up in Houston, Texas and was raised in a wonderful church surrounded by an amazing community of people who strived to serve the Lord with their lives. Because of the example of his family and church, he quickly accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. After many tumultuous years as a slowly maturing believer through high school in Texas and college in Ohio, in 2013 he was vividly called to relinquish his earthly tether and focus his heart to building the Kingdom of God alone. After finally making the decision to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, the Lord confirmed that calling powerfully from many directions. First and foremost was the wonderful way in which he met his wife, April. From 2013 onwards, the Lord has consistently orchestrated opportunities for Vinay to utilize various gifts and talents for His Kingdom. From writing about His Word to teaching His Word to designing, his life is a testament to the fact that the Lord can and will use all things for His great purpose. April and Vinay strive to honor the Lord in every aspect of life, whether it is working as unto Him as a doctor and architect or pouring into the lives of the community around them for the sake of the gospel or as a board member for ROCK International. It is his greatest desire to live more to build the name of Christ than his own.
