I came to your website and chronological Bible series as the result of a question which I had after viewing a program on the History Channel. That question was, ‘How did God forgive sin prior to Jesus’ crucifixion?’ Prior to finding this site, I considered myself a Christian. However, my understanding was very elementary and, in hindsight, wholly incomplete. Suffice it to write that I now understand. I now realize that it is not about trying to be a good person. … God established a single way to become righteous before him. All other efforts are futile.
