“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” —Jesus Christ (John 8:32)
Using excerpts from emails, texts, and letters, this month’s ROCK Review will be “written” by some of you who read it and often comment — and by others whose lives have been changed by God’s living Word and Holy Spirit partly through ROCK’s gospel and discipleship media tools.
• India: From our Hindi and Marathi translator (January 2026): “What a joy to read the ROCK Review each month. I thank God for ROCK and its multidimensional ministries. I am extremely happy to God that He has connected me with you. I praise Him and pray for the opportunities and needs at the school in South Asia. I am overjoyed knowing of the New Hope Secondary School‘s progress and success in Tanzania. I am praying for the nations. I was challenged by your statement that untold millions have smartphones and internet (with potential access to clear gospel resources in their heart languages), yet multitudes are still unreached! Praying!”
• USA: From prayer partners: “I NEVER CEASE TO BE AMAZED!!!!!!!! Just unbelievable and makes my heart so happy!” Another sister in Christ wrote: “My husband and I are so encouraged to hear this report. There is no chaining the gospel!”
• South Asia: “I spent most of my life living in fear of people, fear of tomorrow, and in fear of loss. One night, while alone at home, I heard on the radio The Way of Righteousness [in Kashmiri]. The program told of God’s love that removes fear. I started listening daily and praying quietly in my heart. Over time, I noticed a deep change within me… I thank God for giving me His peace and hope….”
• Greater Middle East: “[A believer risked his life to show] King of Glory to a man high up in the government. The man loved the film, shared it with his family, accepted a Bible, and is now studying. Please continue to pray. Amid unspeakable suffering, we are rejoicing that God is still bringing sinners to repentance. Many refugees are trusting the Lord Jesus as Savior.”
• Venezuela: “We just returned (Feb. 1) from a very long trip up the Orinoco River. We placed 163 Torches (solar-powered gospel audio devices/flashlights) in 21 Yanomamö villages: 17 with no previous missionary contact and 4 with very little. We were warmly received. We also distributed Yanomamö King of Glory picture books (to go with the Torches).”
Unlike the current testimonies just read, these final two are from prison letters written years ago, which also beautifully echo our Lord’s words: “THE TRUTH shall make you free!”
• Missouri Prison (2018): “While in my prison’s chapel, I ran across a book, What if Jesus Meant What He Said? This book is profoundly changing my life with every page I read. When I began reading this book, I thought my walk with God was pretty solid, but how wrong I was. Most of my life has been self-centered, but not anymore. When I leave prison, this time it will be for God’s glory to be used by Him any way He chooses. I believe God may give me a jail and prison ministry using this book….”
• Baltimore Prison (2016): “A week ago, I was a Muslim. I, with the help of you and the Holy Spirit, found understanding in the Holy Bible. I cried out to the One True God, “Please give me understanding!” And I added, “Only of You O GOD!” With a heart full of pain and sadness, He answered me. I was moved to another cell. There I found the book One God One Message just lying on the floor. I began to read… By chapters two and three, I had a face full of tears. Thank God I found this book! Amen! … Jesus Christ set me free!”
To the praise of His glory,
