“And I tell you [learn from this], make friends for yourselves [for eternity] by means of the wealth of unrighteousness [that is, use material resources as a way to further the work of God], so that when it runs out, they will welcome you into the eternal dwellings.”
– Luke 16:9 [Amplified Bible]

The above verse comes from Jesus’ conclusion in the Parable of the Unjust Steward, who shrewdly used his master’s money to make friendships for his own (temporal) financial security. Our Lord applies this story to His disciples, urging them to invest in things of eternal value that last forever.

In his Believers’ Bible Commentary, William MacDonald writes: “By the wise investment of material possessions, we can have a share in the eternal blessing of men and women….that when we arrive at the gates of heaven, there will be a welcoming committee of those who were [reached with the gospel, in part,] through our sacrificial giving and praying.’”

ROCK Resources
We thank you in Jesus’ name for your fervent prayers and faithful gifts, blessing souls for time and eternity through ROCK International’s multimedia, multilingual gospel/discipleship tools.

As mentioned last month, requests are increasing from believers, churches, and ministries – mostly in poor nations – who want ROCK’s printed books in their heart languages AND the means to print them locally. (In many regions, printed books reach the lost and equip believers in ways digital books cannot.) By God’s abundant supply through people like you, ROCK Resources has been able to facilitate such printings and distributions in recent years – from Africa to Asia to Oceania – impacting multitudes.

Last month we focused on Papua New Guinea and 60,000 books being distributed. Amazing! For another example (from last week) of God at work through printed books, see this month’s thumbnail and video (and its description) from believers in the D.R. Congo. Their video shows the distribution of KING of GLORY books in Swahili and French among a crowd of 600+ (who had just walked up a mile-high mountain). But the leaders had only 85 books with them, making it quite a different process from when Jesus fed 5000+, where “all ate and were filled.” Yet, in both places, “the Bread of Life” who “fills the hungry soul with goodness” (Psalm 107:9) was shared.

To the praise of our God for endless open doors, and for leading us to walk through some of them, ROCK Resources’ financial “cup” is now mostly drained after investing in many printings and projects in the first two trimesters of 2025. As a result, we have placed a temporary hold on such print jobs and certain other projects as we look to the Lord of the harvest to refill ROCK’s cup—which He will surely do as we walk and work with Him, and wait on Him and for Him (His timing). Thank you for joining us in praise, prayer, and thanksgiving.

ROCKids
We thank you as well for your continued prayers for the ministries impacting youth in Senegal, Niger, and Tanzania. Thank you for your faithful part in the New Hope Secondary School for Girls, which often operates on the financial edge, even as God continues to provide month by month and do His deep work in and through these young women and their families.
